6. Balancing
Mein se hum tak, Along her Books
Balancing
During
her training semester, her parents started looking for a life partner for her.
But she was Bindass and wanted to live her way. So, she joined the
meetings with her parents and then told all her plus and minus while she had
personal time in the meetings. But to her surprise she met his man, even after her tries to deny and delay the marriage, he agreed and her parents fixed it.
And after 3 months of her masters, she was in her new house.
The
initial year of marriage is full of changes and adjustments, but her being
straightforward and her chulbuly nature helped her go with the flow. She
adjusted to the new people and started learning the new customs. Sometimes
right and many times wrong, both sides were being habituated with each other.
Good days, bad days and worst days too, in the initial years your married life,
responsibilities increase many folds and you have to find time for yourself and
others too.
All
her responsibilities changed from individual to collective. She managed
everything she could and cried out when she couldn’t but all the way long, she
tried keeping the balance. She couldn’t forget her first love and
convinced her family members to let her continue her studies. She enrolled
herself in M.Phil. Biotechnology Distance Course. Family time is all about
distraction and lack of focus, and she couldn’t overcome the same. She
conceived her first child during her M.Phil. studies. And to increase a level
more, her due date and exam dates were clashing, end of June. Now as a
housewife she had all the more responsibilities of the house, her exams, and
herself. But Pehla pyar jo
hota hai, uske liye toh aap kuch bhi kar saktein hai, and so she gave the exam on 29th,
and her baby girl entered the world on 30th.
Passed with first division,
she was now a young family mom, with lot of degrees and thousands of desires in
her. Keeping herself busy with her child, she tried searching for a job that
will help her keep in touch with her first love and also with her newly blessed
family.
After
one and a half years of parenting her angel, she joined as a lecturer in a college.
And now her life was a perfect one. Taking care of herself, spending quality
time with her family balancing home and work, her life quickly slipped into a
comforting life.
Though her surname has,
changed, her supername (Dr.) took a backseat. But it was still in her
mind and she kept on brainstorming to reach that dream of hers!!!
