2. Everything is easy, when you are crazy, Nothing is easy if you are lazy
Mein se hum tak, along her books!!!
“Everything
is easy, when you are crazy, Nothing is easy if you are lazy”
This was
the thought which my son presented today in his morning online assembly.
Sounding so obvious, and perfectly suiting my post, I opted for this as the title to
today’s Journey of JD.. after her
friendship with her exam manuals, it was the time to test her loyalty and trust
to her assessment papers... the Boards class 10th.
With all
illustrated examples in a nice systematic way, RD Sharma, Mathematics book, made
her life orderly, preventing all the chaos of friends, family, and rishtedars.
Math has been an integral part of her since class 10th.
Mathematics is beautiful and astounding. Numbers were like her partner all
through, they were everywhere that helped her explore her life more
efficiently.
Her family
just came back from Kathmandu which they visited during her Summer
Vacation. After the first international
trip, she was super excited and happily resumed her world of books. As it was her
Board’s year she was completely focused and much into her books all day. But shayad
friends are more envious when u get more marks than them, so her studies got
distracted by all the teenage talks. Going to the markets with friends,
enjoying, eating out, and studying with friends without a page being
understood.
But as its
more rightly said “Everything is easy when you are crazy, Nothing is easy if
you are lazy” She prepared everything, every note, thoughtfully to give the
best of her, enjoying the whole day with friends, and deliberately studying the
whole night. And then finally came the D days... boards started...
On the last
day, while studying for her Mathematics board exam, positioned at her study
table, she craved to have some the munchies. Getting up from her table stretching
her body, giving her mind a rest, she went straight to the kitchen, thinking
not to disturb her mom. The dish she decided on was Popcorn, simple and easy to
prepare. She stowed the cooker on fire, loaded it with corn kernels, and enthusiastically
waiting for them to pop. Meanwhile, she kept dwelling on her subject numerical
back of her mind. The popping sound and the amazing smell suddenly paddled her
back to the kitchen... tadaaaa its ready...
and she picked up the cooker and kept it on the worktable when in the spur of that
moment, her mother called “JD”……
With all
the rush in her head, she panicked and dabbed her hand onto the hot flaming
cooker and it went all red…. mom mom mom….
Crying,
screaming and more tensed, she ran to her mom... “it's my right hand how will I type down my exam tomorrow”. Calming her down her mother helped her with the
ointment, medication and made her sleep.
With the
hell of burning pain, she still got up energetically and was ready to knock
out her exam. As the assessment initiated,
she commenced writing, she wanted to chalk down everything fast as she thought
she will not be able to finish in the exam. Forgetting the pain, her mind was
running super fast and fingers penning the answers readily, and she finished her
exam in 1.5 hours (3 hours was the exam time). Satisfied but still in pain she
came back from exam center, and now waiting for the results…
“90%”
Happy and happy… her written versions made her and everyone around, Proud!!!!
(hath
jalna had become one of her lucky trend, class 9 and 10 both she got burnt
and that created a much problem in her life), but overcoming her pain she did
what she liked, bringing justice to the manuscripts she read and her studies.
And now was the time for the decision of her
life…
To Be
