Medical with Math’s

Completing class 10th was a great accomplishment, and yes, she did that with flying colors. Now for every other kid, the principal battle of choosing the subject was to start, but she knew the initial step of career. Her books had told her everything she had to do in her life. She had all the interest in math and bio, she enjoyed the critical and logical thinking process. So, crystal clear she opted for Medical with Maths.  By the way that was the deadliest combination of that time. As math and bio usually, kids cannot cope up. but her mind was all set. As none of the subjects is tough or easy, it all depends on your interest and the amount of work you put in.

New school, new friends, new teachers, she started her new phase of life. As it was a new school, she was a bit nervous, but she kept her best foot forward. The subjects kept her excitement and anticipation high always. Sometimes the Instructions in the class confused her, sometimes endless word searches were terrifying but quizzes made her brain secrete lots of creative juices, while class discussions seem too boring to her and for her, the classroom clock's hands always moved too slowly. She wanted to spend her time with her own volumes and pages, as new numericals of H.C. Verma, gave her all the more fun and anticipation to analyze more and more. Organic and inorganic chemistry was always on her head experimenting in the kitchen and creating a mess every other day. School life is full of good moments but her best moment was when she had a biology practical. That day she had to dissect a mouse, a white cute mouse jumping in the cage. When the lab attendant gave the sedative, it calmed down in few minutes. And within next 5 minutes it was on her dissecting tray. She bought the kidneys of the mouse (calling them Rajma) to her vegetarian home. And that day she did not get any food to eat. After that she did a lot of experiments, improving her skills but never bought them home. But these were the experiments that made her all the better and more skillful in her subject. As hands-on training are the best way to acquire quick and best knowledge. Life is not going to be pen or paper forever. So, it’s best to explore the world using practical skills and strength your understandings.

Obsessed with her ideas, she kept on practicing and was now all set for the class 12 boards.

“Distinction in all subjects”

Once again, she made herself and the family proud.

To be continued….
